bless ya Val mi dear
Dad is finally home.. He wasn't very impressed with his treatment and won't go back to boston hospital again he said.. All I can say is that they left him in a mess for over four hours.. Disgusting..
It's knocked his confidence beyond belief, and he was doing so well with all of this.. It will take some getting over I think..
Right now he's just glad he is home and so am I..

...so happy to hear that your Dad is home, Tony Both your mum and dad will be really grateful that you are at home with them. It is such a stressful time when our parents become poorly isn't it?? Life isn't easy for you by any means at the moment but at least you know you have 'done your absolute best' to look after your mamma and pops. You could do no more than you are doing. I just hope things settle down for you all really soon. You all deserve a break from this stress!! Take great care.....x0

Tony I am so pleased your dad is home at last, and hopefully this time for good....bless they have put him through it..and you his family.
They have a lot to answer for, I do hope he can now start to recover well...he has a lovely family behind him and that counts for a lot.
You take care of yourself the best you can in all this
Love to all of you xxxxxLove

Thank you everyone.
Another bad night was had for them both.
He's had to arrange an emergency appointment with the stoma nurse in boston.
Transport has been arranged. He's a shell of the person he used to be.
They've had nothing but trouble with the bags leaking (sorry) and his wound is very sore..
The travel home the other day really wore him out and this will do the same..
I know that the stoma will settle but it's taking a long time.
The health system here is dire.. I would be much happier if they were in LeedsMe-Tony

thank you, each and every one of you..
Well, his appointment was at two.. Transport arrived at quarter past two
Mum had to ring the nurse and explain..
Someone had given the driver the wrong address :x
One farce after another.
Mum has a list of problems etc for the nurse.. I've told her not to leave until she's happy
They may be a while :?
I think they're glad I'm here. Been and done some shopping etc for them. Mum doesn't drive and she's not really happy leaving dad.Me-Tony

Hi Tony,
Hope you are OK and your dad is doing well.
I wish you all the best.0 -
thanks hun.
The trip to the hospital in boston and back had really worn him out. He's had to go back to bed.
The nurse actually sorted things our properly this time and have them done creams etc for the sore wound.
I really hope this helps. His confidence has dissipated into oblivion..
It's gonna be tough to leave them again. Think I'll go home sunday.nesia wrote:Hi Tony,
