I have a friend (female) who fits this description! She has "arthritis" in her knee (she may well do so I am sorry if I appear harsh, but please read on!) and did moan incessantly about it. I assumed that she was taking the usual dullers and so suggested she move onto some with eg codeine in. She was taking nothing!! I made her take some paracetamol and lo and behold she felt better. When she saw the consultant (paid privately) he asked her what pain killers she was taking and when he found out he said go away and take ibuprofen as a course ( I had been saying the same for months). Guess what, she got better! When she has a cold she has the flu but is able to go for a walk the next day. And I mean a 4 mile walk! Whatever is wrong with her she is "so unwell". She calls me a "drug addict". That hurts actually, I take loads of pills, just llike most on here, but am not an "addict"!

She refuses to take drugs most of the time so when she is in pain she just lives with it, except for bending my ear off. In the end I told her that unless she had taken all the available pain dullers first she couldn't moan. It gets right on my t*ts! When she has a cold she won't take decongestants etc etc. But, when her husband was suffering with nerve pain coming from a spinal thing she went mad at him to take ibuprofen, as a course, sent him down to see if I still had any OTC codeine/para for him! Funny!

So, that has brought a litle male/female balance to the discussion for you Colin! :D

Don't you believe it, ichabod and Colin :!:

After spending time with Eve, Adam was walking in the Garden with God. Adam told God how much the woman means to him and how blessed he feels to have her. Adam began to ask questions about her.

Adam: Lord, Eve is beautiful. Why did you make her so beautiful?

God: So you will always want to look at her.

Adam: Lord, her skin is so soft. Why did you make her skin so soft?

God: So you will always want to touch her.

Adam: She always smells so good. Lord, why did you make her smell so good?

God: So you will always want to be near her.

Adam: That's wonderful Lord, and I don't want to seem ungrateful, but why did you make her so stupid?

God: So she would love you.
