Sorry you have this on top of everything else DD. Or maybe it's because of everything else. If you're stressed and run down, you're sure to be more susceptible to stuff.
Take care of you,
Numpty0 -
Hi DD
As you know I have been away but I have constantly been thinking of you and mr DD.
I am sorry that now you have come down with a cold and hope that it clears soon.
Sending more ((((())))) and a box of very soft tissues

How's the cold today DD.
I hope it's improving, and that your gorillas stay in the shed. Are they silver backs by any chance? They certainly seem aggressive enough.
Fondest wishes,
Numpty0 -
Hope your cold is a little better, there's a lot of bugs going about at the moment! Hope you primate problem is still at bay in the shed! Maybe you got your cold from one of them! Maybe that could be a good way to keep them at bay, use it by explaining your immune system is low and need to keep people including gorrillas at arms length as to not get bugs!
Big (((HUGS)) at arms length as not to get your germs! My thoughts are with you & Mr DD.0 -
Thank you bubba, it's got a hold now and I am feeling very rough. It needs to be gone by Friday though as me and 'im indoors are having a week-end away by the sea; this was booked before the events of last week and we are still going to go as there is little we can do here. I hope you are as well as you can be. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hello DD - I was terribly sorry to read of the sad loss of your FIL and send sincere condolences to you and your family.
I apologise for the late response, but on a brighter note I have some good news. My original post in June this year was to ask advice regarding holidays and flying and you amongst many others were very encouraging and I managed to persuade Mr SS to let me fly. We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Italy! I can't tell you what a difference it has made. Within 24 hours all aches, pains and stiffness had disappeared and I think Mr SS thought he had taken the wrong woman away with him. I am sure it will all suddenly return just as quickly, but in the meantime I am planning the next escape.
However, why is there always a "but"? We went on a boat trip whilst there and had a lovely day. BUT ... I have had vertigo ever since. Very unpleasant. It is lessening, but I do still feel as if I am on a boat. So now I have another question ... would the boat trip have caused the vertigo??
We had been thinking of a river cruise next, but now I'm not so sure.
I apologise, I have just realised I am rambling and this is about you not me.
I'm sorry you are now unwell when you have so much to deal with, but I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy your weekend away.
With best wishes to you and Mr DD - Susie0 -
Hi DD

Gorilla glue to keep the gorillas firmly stuck out of the way and something nice, soft and soothing to melt the barbed wire. I'm sure you can sort that one outIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hey DD
As I think I said before, I'm not good at gorillas, but I am still thinking of you very much and willing those germs away in time for the weekend.

Hi DD,
I hope you and Mr DD had a good weekend by the sea, and you have both benefited from it.
I also hope the gorillas packed their bags and did a bunk while you were away.
Thinking of you,

Well, we're back. The week-end was OK, he spent a lot of it asleep (which was good) and I spent a lot of it coughing (which wasn't.) I've done far too much walking, the pain in my knees and sacro iliacs is horrendous, my wrists are playing up, my mum is being a pain in the you-know-where and we have the cremation on Thursday.
I am dreading this week. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Oh DD, I'm so so sorry.

My stress levels are steadily rising, my temper is shortening accordingly, I'm not clear of the cough etc as yet but I will humira and meth this week as I need to be able to move a little better and I will have to do some driving. As Oscar Wilde once said 'Any fool can cope in a crisis - it takes a genuis to cope with everyday life.' (or words to that effect) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. DD I'm sorry things aren't great, wish I could help! I would have rushed over and been there to take some of the stress off you. Why do things all go wrong at the worst time hey! Try and get 10mins to yourself if you can. Get as much rest as you can. Take Care. BIG (((HUGS))0

DD I hope that nasty cough clears up quickly. Sending you a couple of spoons to help you through this tough time. (((hug)))Christine0
