My kidney infection is back with a vengeance and I have 24 hours or I am back in hospital. I am fed up

It has knocked me for six and I haven't felt right since coming out of hospital. I have been so tired and back is agony. Walking is a nightmare.

Not much to say really, the title sums it up!

If you've not felt right since coming out of hospital, Suzygirl, it sounds as if it's not so much as case of the infection being back as the infection never really having gone. I can feel your frustration and I'm sure, in your situation, I'd feel exactly as you do but the first requirement is to get rid of this thing once and for all and, if hospitalisation is what it takes, so be it. You will get there. It might just take a little longer. (())

I'm glad you slept and I like the sound of your plans for today. Don't resist going back to hospital though - it may be the best place at the moment for you and that is the important thing. This needs properly clearing and they have the resources to do just that. DD

Hello suzy girl. Am sorry to hear you are having such a bad time and do hope that things will improve for you soon and that you will be feeling better. Take care. Beryl p.s throw as many toys as you like if it helps - sometimes I feel like throwing a plate/cup/dish but don't because it will mean I have to get down and clear it up!!! Lots of hugs.

It never rains.....etc etc. At least you have a sort of explanation but it aint going to make stuff feel any better. I hope you can avoid hospital but do whatever you have to do, Suzygirl. This thing needs knocking on the head.

Hi Suzygirl, I am sorry to see that you are not better. I agree that it could be that hospital is the best place for you. If you had a systemic infection it can really take a lot of IV antibiotics to see it off. I felt really bad for months after my infected hardware was taken out, and for the whole time it was in I never felt right but no one believed me! I am afraid that my advice is to grit your teeth and get it sorted now rather than letting it keep dragging on. I know that you don't want to go back in hospital (who would) so I feel really sorry for you and am sending you all my best wishes.

Big hugs and loads of sympathy. ((()))

Thank you everyone, you are all very kind. Feeling very rough today and have a temperature which I find odd as I am on antibiotics.

    Really hoping tomorrow is better.
