Our lovely DD has her double carpel tunnel surgery tomorrow!
She said she doesn't need pocket duties as such, just kind thoughts.

DD I am thinking of you and I wish you well.

    I shall stay clear of the pockets but you have my kind thoughts, DD. Some of those thoughts will, as I'm sure you'll realise, possibly be wicked and some of them unprintable but all will be kind, and optimistic and definitely wishing you well. (())
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Numpty, thank you for starting this thread, it is very kind of you. I freely admit I am in a pother about it - gawd knows why, it's hardly complicated surgery and only having local anaesthetic is surely a good thing - BUT - I've never had an op with only local before. I am a firm believer in being totally oblivious when being carved into and about! :lol: Thank you, everyone, for your wonderful support. DD

    DD best wishes and good luck, you will be fine with the local, I had never had one before either it was good to be able to talk to the Doc and ask questions as you go along, also no after effects of a general take care and hope to see you posting soon.............Mariexx

    You will be fine hun. .
    I once asked to be awake for the op to repair the broken bone and snapped tendon in mi finger. It was all quite fascinating.
    The surgeon was excited as nobody had ever asked before lol

    You will have a whole army of friends thinking of you mi dear.
