Got letter back today asking me to go for their OH assessment on Monday but I had to phone them up to cancel it as I have another medical appointment on Monday. When I phone up the person answering the phone sounded as she had just woken up and this is the first time that department has answered the phone like that. This is the councils adult social services. I wonder do the sleep at their job during the day time when no one bothers them :?0

Well hubby took my photo copy of original form to the council, they are sending off for another badge with proper date on, but he had to pay another £10 to do so, ended up paying £20 for the filliping badge :x0

Poor council's they need the money, the need the money now that they have become more accountable. The best place to get it is from the disabled people and unemployed. You would think it was a sin to be unemployed and you got to literally pay for it. :x
It is like the freedom bus passes, the Mayor of London wants the over 60's to have it at a cost of £10, which is a way of bringing in charges for that as well. We will all have to pay for our bus passes when it comes up for renewal regardless of age.
Mayor want us all to ride bikes at £2.00 a time with a Barclay card next year 2013, it was £1.00 in 2012, but it will keep going up like the rest of the transport each year. The mayor is putting billion into make bike lane it seems that there is lots of money available for his project..
Too may people got killed in 2011/12 on bikes and that must end. He has totally forgot about disabled people not able to ride a bike but hey ho what does he care.
