val, you were kind enough to reply to my post on Chit Chat so you are aware of my situation.
My neice died when she was 20 (her rare germ cell ovarian cancer was initially diagnosed when she was 15). She beat it with treatment and then went onto have a baby girl - who we all dearly love as she is our miracle child. Unfortunately, my neice's cancer came back when she was pregnant and there was then a misdiagnosis following a MRI scan so my neice didn't get the chance to beat this again.
However, there is no way on earth I would say to anyone battling this dreadful disease that just because that happened to us, they should also have a poor outcome. How dare they? I realise grief takes people different ways, but you shouldn't take out your grief on other people.
I hope your friend with the skin cancer has a speedy and positive recovery. Also that your fight is one where you will not let this dreadful disease beat you - you are far better than that!
Try to forget you ever saw that post, you are a wonderful person and so supportive to others that despite your own health issues at the moment, you are still supporting others. That's our Val!
    Just take care of yourself,
    GraceB

Hi Val, I've come a bit late to this thread, but I hope that you have put this unpleasant incident out of your mind by now. You have so many friends on here who are supportive and we are all sending you positive thoughts and our love to help you to get better. Hold on to that thought and try to forget the sad person who upset you.

    Love Joan xx
