While watching the Ireland v France match I couldn't help but notice that the Irish shorts were all saggy, lumpy and unappealing whereas the French ones were well-fitting, beautifully shaped and utterly delectable. Vive la France, I say.

I'm sure you'll think of something suitable, Mig, and will selflessly be there to provide it

Right, I'm on the sofa with a Guinness to hand (for mecidinal purposes  ) and warming the voice for the opera that is the Italian national anthem. Our lads shouldn't find this too much of a bother but you never know - weirder things have happened in the world. DD

Many congratulations are due to Wales, there's no doubt they've outplayed an in-experienced England team but I think their victory is marred by the bias shown by the ref.

Mr DD is now slumped in a dark cloud of silence and will remain so for the rest of the evening. Ye gods - does it really matter? :? Winning is always better than losing - all teams have their day. DD

I don't understand why he is still on the panel as he's already been suspended once for showing favouritism and he hates the English.

    I wonder too!
