Another few gentle ones. ((())) Sorry I can't get my arms right round the combined girth

Thank you everybody, it's lovely to be back here with you all! I'm so so tired but I think after a week of hospitals, the food and the beds it isn't surprising. Mr LV and I were trying to get away for a weekend before the babies arrived but people keep visiting us and we didn't want to leave it too late after this week. As a compromise and to wash away the horrors of the week we went to an Inn not too far away for the night last night, we ate like kings, slept in a lovely big bed and generally relaxed. It was heaven, we're now tucked up at home, watching (or he is) a horror film with the fire blazing and the dogs asleep. Bliss!
I like to think the breathing is getting easier but I think I am just hopeful, Mr LV thought he might have to do CPR on me last night due to my shallow breathing, still makes a change that my breathing keeps him awake and not his snoring keeping me awake . Either way, the iron is at least making me look less pale, surely that's a start!

I am so pleased you were able to manage a night away and to hear that you are snuggled down together. Keep warm, do your best with the breathing (I had chronic asthma as a child and not being able to breathe as one would wish is far from fun) - could you maneouvre the babies somehow so their cute little botties don't impinge on your lungs? Mind you, I gues they would only impinge on summat else and I guess you can't move two babies that easily - dammit, I don't even know if you can move one! DD

When it gets really sticking in the lungsy I do an evil think I learned from Dr Google, I place an ice cream tub on the bottom of my ribs and that gives me a momentary relief as somebody gets a bit of a shock and shifts, sadly, there just isn't the space left for them to move down and stay down now, I did used to be able to move them though, it was nice when I could, it felt like we were all cooperating to share the space.

Last night was lovely. I suppose it will be our last break like that for a long time. As for watching horror films, with two nappies to be changing I expect we'll be living in one at times soon.

That sounds wonderful, LV, both the night away and the being tucked up with the fire blazing. Pity you can't get more comfortable but that won't be for much longer.

Glad to see your home and the fire sounds wonderful. Not sure about the horror movie though, not very good at watching those.
Great that you managed a lovely night away together, and fingers crossed the spring weather is not long away now so you will be able to take bubble and squeak for walks to show them off or is it to tire them out???? :D

The night at the Inn sounds a great antidote to the nights at the hospital. It might be some time before you get the chance to do that again.

Keep breathing - it's good for you
