All is well on the Mr DD front. The colonoscopy went smoothly, he had one or two deep breaths of gas and air but came home happy because the initial results show that all is well. I was warned about the post-procedure burping and other sounds  but currently all I can hear is snoring. He had a disturbed night and I suppose those interruptions (plus this morning's ironing) have caught up with him. I'm determined to stay up for at least the first part of Foyle (it's Saturday dammit!) but I doubt I'll get that far. DD

Glad it went well for Mr DD. Hope he enjoys his Guinness and you both have a relaxing day tomorrow. Did you manage to watch Foyle?
    Unsure -

All the best to you and MrDD, and remember what they say about naked lights and gas.....
Can't help feeling that all this makes colonic irrigation seem less repulsive.

I didn't last Foyle - once upon a time I used to get very grumpy if I wasn't going out on a Saturday night, now I cheerfully head off to bed at stupidly early o'clock 'cos I can't stay awake. He had a restless night, much wind and gustiness which culminated in our having a cuppa at 5.30 - utter marital bliss. :) DD

I hope you both have a good day today, and a much better, calmer (as in less windy) night.
