OUR NB IS HAVING HER THR TODAY

nearlybionic is having her THR today..so I just want to wish her well with the op and a speedy recovery....will be thinking about you..((((())))xx

    Good luck, NB, though I hope luck will have nothing to do with it. Good surgeon, good aftercare and good physio - these are what I wish you. I'll be thinking of you.

    I have just heard off our NB she is back on the ward..and very tired..bless,not surprising.. I am so glad that bit is over with....she says a big Thankyou to everyone for your lovely post and kind thoughts..phew... :D

    Another text of our NB..she is still on oxygen and keeping on top of the pain with her morphine machine....but got no sleep at all last night its a very noisy lot in the ward :roll: ...bless she will soon be home fingers crossed...

    Aw bless you never sleep well in hospitals as there is simply too much going on...Hope she recovers really well and quickly...

    Nothing worse than sleep deprivation especially after a big op, hope you get some sleep soon that aids a speedy recovery...............Marie xx

    Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep - not that surprised though. Hospitals are the worst places to try and rest! Hope you escape soon. :)

    Our NB has asked me to thank you all again for your support it really does mean a lot to her...
    She has had a rough night with the pain and her temperature has gone up so they will be keeping an eye on her...
    I hope today and tonight is much better for you NB...((((())))xx

    Please send my love. I am sorry that her temperature has gone up and hope they can regulate it very soon. I am thinking of her. Lets hope that tonight she will be able to get some sleep. And hopefully she will be home soon.

    I have passed all your wishes on to NB...she has been poorly and when she tried to walk with the crutches she had a fall... :shock: she has been xrayed but all is well...and she says last night she got some sleep...so that is good...
