Just got back from the caravan to find a letter telling me my appointment with oncologist has been changed to tomorrow.
Hoping for some positive news but I'm not holding my breath.
I've been fully covered up in the sun as advised but refuse to wear gloves and socks....thats taking it too far especially when everyone else had shorts on.
Anyone who wants to jump in my pockets for support will be most welcome. Please no crisps they make too much of a crunching sound......anything choccy yes. Take care May xx

 Certainly not, young Numpty. I can imagine the mayhem if you three were together. You will sit in the other pocket with me and, if you're very, very good, you can have a sip out of my hip flask.
May, I shall have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that, possibly with a little prompting from you, he'll come up with something positive. And, I shall bring something with which to celebrate that good news. And I shall not let Numpty swig it all in advanceIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you all. This oncologist is what I call an "if" "maybe" man.
SW hang on to that flask or at least the contents I may just need it.
Just seen on the news our health in this area is 5th worst in the country.
Actually I am surprised by this. OK we have good and not so good parts of our biggest hospital but I have read a few years ago that many hospitals on the south coast have bad press. It could be put down to the heavy industry we used to have here.
Anyway I'll be sure to let you know how I get on, then depending on any plan I have to arrange an MRI for the rheumy before Sepember. That was all put on hold because of the chemo.
I might even risk a hotter bath tonight to see if the aches ease a bit.
Then maybe a glass of my special medicine just to relax me...can't think of a good enough reason why not...just one though SW I do have to think straight tomorrow.
Stay as well as you can May xx0 -
Don't worry, May. We'll be there to prompt you and I promise the contents of the flask will be intact for when you need them.
Enjoy a little medicinal one tonight and all the best for tomorrow. (((())))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
