Might you make the England ladies test team?

Ah, I've been rumbled. OK, my real name is Charlotte Edwards and I am captain of the England Ladies cricket team. I just masquerade as an arthritic in my spare time  Didn't we do well against the Aussies?

May I have your autograph please and have you any spare
complimentary tickets for the other team's upcoming series of
    one dayers?

I don't think the Headingley one-dayer will amount to much today, Ichabod. It's damp and dreary. Can't do the autographs but I do have Steve Waugh's on one of my son's caps.

Is my new friend. Mr sw, ok today.
I watched Leeds thump Wigan RLFC last night on
    Sky Sports.
Ne'er mind about the autographs. I've got Clive Lloyd's
and Michael Atherton's on different books and my daughter
got loads of West Indian and South African signatures on
her programme at a Blackpool cricket festival some years ago.
She was quite impressed at the time.
It's still raining on my Sky Sports and here so I will listen
    to Wednesday night's Prom.

Wednesday Prom? You do music as well as cricket, Ichabod? Woo hoo!

Yes, there were mixed feelings in the SW household last night. He had to drown his sorrows in the end
