    Hello Maria
I have just read your reply I understand how you feel but don't you get the feeling they are making thing s so difficult that people just don't want to bother with going through with the whole appeal thing
You only have to read on the forum go through how many people go through such a negative experience at these appeals and don't want to bother going putting them selves it again
At the one I attended they managed to reduce a person who went in before me to a sobbing mass completely unable to control her upset she could only say How are we going to make ends meet to her Husband who was doing his best to comfort her as she stumbled along on her crutches
My wife and I looked at each other and the rest of the people some in wheelchairs waiting to go in and all thought the same thing what chance do we have
It make me very angry that they get away with treating and talking to people like dirt As my wife told one of the Tribunal members It might be just job to you but this is our life you are dealing with so the least you could do is treat us with a little respect !
I get the feeling its about making numbers look good not what people need
Best wishes to you in the Friendship and Support of the Forum

they make us feel like the crooks when their are people out there who refuse to work and claim off the state and the day their money goes into the bank they take it out and spend the day in the pub!!

Very True - It makes my blood boil, I cant even afford to Christmas right now because of various cuts to this and that.

    It is so unfair
Get the cheating ba*****s make them suffer not the disabled ones who are an easy target!
I worked for 30 years what about the ones who won't work not the ones that can't so so frustrating
I've started watching a BBC1 programme called Claimed and Shamed it makes me feel better that they are getting insurance fraudsters taken to court
One guy stated he was disabled due to an accident claiming a few million pounds also needed a new downstairs bathroom as he could not climb stars they had a private investigator follow him to a theme park filming him walking many steep steps to go down this huge slide thing no problems!!
Needless to say he got nothing but a jail term another guy whose back was so bad he could hardly get around needing a wheelchair! Was captured playing football!
Made me feel a little better that some are not getting away with it!
    Keep strong guys

I don't usually watch this programme Maria, but I caught that one!!!

Naughty man he went up 4 flights of stairs.

Problem is I think it makes a lot of people think that ALL people who have disabilities are faking :?

    Love
