    I agree with salamander, Mike, I too think it's to make life a tad easier in the short-term. Which anti-TNF are you trying? DD

    Hi mike,

    I was given a steroid depo (as I cannot tolerate oral prednisolone) before I started my first anti TNF to give me short term relief. If the process for an anti TNF has been started, it means you have high disease activity, so it's just something to tide you over.

    yes dreamdaisy think its same TNFs as you.
    yes starburst my markers are high,
    but i thought it might be to pump me up a bit in preperation
    for the TNFs (the increse dosage of prednisolone)
