Definitely think it needs to be clarified. I recently had blood tests but wasn't told what for. When the results came through, I was told they were normal. That's not good enough. I'd ring if I was you and ask what it actually means.

It should be good news but ir does sound a bit mixed up. Yes, do get clarification for your own peace of mind.

Sorry I'm late in coming to this, DD. I know it can be a worry having a blood test like this. I had it last year when I had IBS symptoms - which turned out to be IBS!

I think it's a good idea to phone the surgery and confirm the result. Ask what the number is for the CA125 test and what, exactly, that means. Are they going to do anything about the cyst? That, obviously, needs to be discussed also.

Hope you get reassurance when you ring.

Thank you, each and every one, DD has a plan of campaign. Letters have been prepared for the Practice Manager and the lady who sent me the incredibly badly-worded letter telling me that the doctor wished to speak with me (somebody should have told him that too, shouldn't they? )

The falling standards of formal communication sadden me, they reflect the general decline in education and its content over the past thirty years or so. DD

That sounds like a good plan to me, DD. I completely agree with you about the standards of communication. I hope you have some clarity on the situation very soon.

Hope you get some satisfactory answers DD, the extra confusion is the last thing you need. Incompetence is highly stressful
