I have just posted a reply but it's gone for approval by the moderators again, so it will probably make no sense by the time it gets to the board!0

Hi
Glad things are back to normal again
I don't drink.......if you don't want to {for whatever reason why should you?}
I don't drink because I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 18 months....so when it came to the time when I could drink I didn't start, thinking it would be more fuss trying to work out how much I could or couldn't drink
If I only knew what the future held Shake me an I rattle and its not just the epilepsy tablets!!!
Now I don't particularly like the taste.......doesn't mean I have any objections to anyone else drinking......I remember going pub crawling before I was married.......on blackcurrant and lemonade
Hope you are going to chill today
Love

I don't object to anyone else drinking either; I bought wine in for her but she won't drink unless I do, so heaps the guilt trip on because she says she really wants one but it's no fun alone! Anyway, that was one point I was not going to concede! New Year's Day is always a great time for me...I wake up clear headed knowing so many other people are suffering!!!!
Yes, things are back to normal. Had a very relaxing day with my youngest yesterday although I think I am heading for another flare up (not sure I came out of the last one completely); I slept for 4 hours yesterday afternoon on the settee. My joints were really sore, I have broken out in cold sores, my mouth was really sore and this morning one of the glands in my neck is swollen and sore! Of course it could all just be the stress of the last few days catching up with me!
What are you up to for NYE?0 -
Hi
I hope it's not another flare up.
As for New Year.....very little. Everything is so expensive.
Meals out. Others tell me it costs £30 to get into a club and yhou have to stay there all evening, if you decide to move to another one its another £30
Hubby and I take the car and drive up onto a hill where we have a good view of the firework display on the Quayside.
That's about it
Love

Its a nightmare going out NYE. Not only the cost of getting in anywhere, but then also the cost of getting a babysitter for my youngest, if you can get one at all. Although a local social club is having a party so I might go up there with my daughter (it's a family friendly club), but I don't really know anyone so it might be a bit awkward! In truth we'll probably stay in, play games, eat festive food and watch Jonathan Ross! Slept for a couple of hours again this afternoon...there is definitely something amiss!0
