    A brief update: Lucy refused the Hickman (having Wiki'd it I can understand why) so they are waiting for another surgery slot to have an alternative method put in place. Frog appreciates all your support. DD

    Don't blame her refusing it. My niece had one. Hope they can sort out another method that suits her better. More (((hugs))) for them.

    Oh Hileena, this is a tough time for our two girls, yes? I don't know about the epilepsy meds but hopefully they have put her back on the one that suited her better (I guess they can't be stopped?) The IV antibiotics continue and she has opted for a pick. I don't know when that will be installed.

    Toni is aware of everyone's best wishes etc. but I am sure you all understand that she may not be replying in the immediate future. DD

    Of course we understand she wont be in touch although she text me to say she would asap but that's just wishful thinking.
    They can't take Lucy of the EP meds...they'll have to change them

    Toni is an amazingly strong women, but when it comes to your children the pain in your heart is very hard to mask. She has been texting me when she can, she knows my heart goes out to her, her OH and Lucy. Thanks Ron for posting the awful news I just couldn't do it. :(

    A quick update: Frog has read all your messages and wanted to reply but lost her connection. She sends her thanks to each and everyone for the support. Lucy's picc line should be in at any moment - she has been more lively today so that would indicate that the IV antibios are tackling the infection, yes? DD
