freeze steamer bags

Does any one know if you can put steamer bags in the freezer when you have put your veggies in ? couldn't find anything online. Mig

I don't know - I suspect there's only one way to find out . . . . My guess would be no because surely they are ventilated so steam can permeate. DD0

Mig like DD says they have tiny holes in them, so I wouldn't think they would be suitable...x0

Could you put the steamer bag inside another, non-steamer one, ie bread wrapper or somesuch, clipped tightly then, when required, just remove the steamer bag and contents?0

ive had a good look at the steamer bags they haven't any holes in them ,they fold down at the top with a narrow strip of sticky stuff,anyway I'm experimenting trying freezing some carrots. Mig0
