Was laid up yesterday and most of the day before. Horrid pain
the weather didn't help. Torrential rain.
Got up today. Feeling a fair bit better at the minute. Think we are going to Fort William today. Bit of a drive up but hopefully worth it. Looks amazing.

Lovely pics - we went to Oban couple of years ago, thought the area was beautiful. We had a trip down to Seil Island, right to the end, where the ferry leaves - thought it was absolutely gorgeous. Also went to Benderloch. Absolutely loved Scotland, but it's a loooooong 8-9 hour drive from where we live - would like to revisit, but maybe by plane or train!

    Hi Tony,

If you get to Fort William, try to find time for a drive up Glen Nevis - the river is lovely, has lots of seats alongside it, and there`s a lovely café whose name I`ve forgotten. There`s also Neptune`s Staircase at Corpach, virtually next to Ft Wm - it`s a flight of locks on the Caledonian Canal - nice pub there too, called the Moorings. The views of Ben Nevis are best seen from the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge.

Thank you Sharon. Had a wonderful day today. Fort William was brilliant but we only had a couple of hours because we stopped off at so many lovely spots lol. There is a fantastic cafe up in the hills. Has a cable lift fir the skiers during the season. Amazing views from the cafe though. Well worth stopping off..

I will add more photos soon.

Theresa. . Only just seen your message  back at the cittage now lol. Wish I had seen it earlier.
We will definitely be coming back here again though. So I know for next time. Heehee..
    Thank you hun.

    Thank you Christine.
The last three photos were at Glencoe.. Lovely area. Right up in the hills. I'm so glad we stopped off for a cuppa. That cafe is in an amazing setting. There were little pods that you can rent for the night. Probably just during skiing times but what a place to stop. Lol
I would've loved to have been there on a night with clear skies. I've been hoping for a night like that while we are here at the cottage but it's been cloudy each night  I love star gazing. The again, my neck has been quite painful lately so I would have to have a recliner chair outside lol.

Been trying to sleep for a while with no joy yet. Have watched two films on mi tablet cos that usually does the trick but I hurt too much at the minute. Worth it though. I am so sad I missed the messages from Theresa. . I did wonder about how to get good views of Ben Nevis as I knew it was close to Fort William.

We are definitely going to be coming back here. It has only cost us about £85 each to pay for the cottage for a week for the six of us plus an overnight stay in East Kilbride on our way up in one of Lenny Henry's hotels and an overnight stay in Carlisle on our way home. I know there is fuel and food on top but that's an incredible price I think.
Anyone wanting details just PM me.. :D
