Hope the sun shines on you this weekend. He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

Thank you ladies
Hileena, I'm sorry that I forgot you. My memory is getting worse   lol
I don't think the knees are any better at all. The elbows are easing though. . Two out of four ain't so bad lol.
We are just having a cuppa then off into town for some breakfast etc.

Hi Tony
I have a memory like a goldfish
I suppose 2 out of ain't bad
The second cortisone injection did not work at all.....I had hoped it would before I went away but no....all it did was leave a massive bruise and the pain is back to what it was originally
Oh well!!!!!!
Enjoy yourself.
Hear you later......I'll b away from next Sunday for a week again lol

Sorry that the injection didn't work hun. The ones I had in my knees don't seem to be having much effect. My elbows area bit better though
I'm just parked up outside St Jame's hospital. Have my first physio appointment since my hydrotherapy. I'm hopingi can get another session.

Hi Tony
I hope the physio goes well and you do get another appointment.,
As for your injections....well it was a 50 percent success
My daughter says....." go gallivanting more now than you did when you were mobile"
We were in Belfast visiting my mam {92 yrs old} last week and this Sunday we go to the Peak District for 6 days with arthritis care. Think that is us settled for a few months. Sarah said "I'll believe it when I see it"
Enjoy your weekend away

Wasn't too bad an appointment today. Have some new excersises I need to do. It's looking unlikely I'll get another session of hydro any time soon. Chapel Allerton is low on physio therapists. .
My mum said Janet must be part pykie as we are always going away lol.
I know that we have a trip to Liverpool, a trip to the isle of man, our main Spanish holiday, a five day trip to keilder forest and who knows where else we are going lol..Me-Tony

Good for you Tony
If you can, you get away as much as possible
Wave as you're going to Keilder
Don't forget all the midges up there
I'm in Northumberland
Love
Hileena0 -
We adore Northumberland. And get up that way quite a lot. It is such a great place.
We have been going to keilder for over 10yrs now. Also some time ago we used to go camping in Alnwick. . I can't do that these days though
So I shall be waving a fair bit then
Oh.. I forgot. . We are going to Stockton on Tees on Friday too.. Lol
It's all Janet's fault.... She's the one that hunts down all these bargain hotels. .
Although Keilder is in a log cabin in the woods . I love it there.Me-Tony

Very wise, Tony, to miss the midges. We like to go to Alnwick - I can spend ages in Barter Books. We like to take our grandsons to the beach at Howick, & eat fish & chips at the Fishing Boat at Boulmer.
Enjoy Stockton,

There's no holding you back Tony. Good for you getting about so much. Hope the exercises work. Pity about the hydro though.
Next Saturday is the grand opening of Stockton's new High Street so the fountain should be up and running. There are things going on from 10 till 3 with the Giant Reveal (no idea what that is) at 1pm. Don't know if you'd maybe rather avoid the crowds.Christine0 -
Hi
Good for Janet.......she's one after my own heart.
We went to a log cabin once last year {in Yorkshire} and it was a log cabin with a hot tub......lovely.
I don't live very far into Northumberland....over the Tyne and Wear border.....I go to Newcastle quicker than to Hexham.
I'm an Avon Rep....have been for 35 years
I used to have a male customer who would buy about 5 bottles of Skin So Soft Spray.......One day I asked him point blank.....{could figure out why this butch bloke bought so many of these}
He worked in Keilder and said it was excellent for keeping the midges away and
his workmates had tried spraying it on as well and found it great so he used to order about 5 of these spray bottles every few campaigns or so
Love Hileena0 -
Barter books, Howick and Boulmer.. All places that I adore lol.
The skin so soft stuff is what we use too.. We asked one of the rangers at Keilder. They all use that. Works a treat against midges n mozzies!
Hexham and Newcastle .. Lovely places too.
The high street reveal sounds good. I don't really do crowds though lol. Don't like people
I could suffer them for a short while I suppose
Thanks for the messages girls.
The hotel we stay in is right on the white water rafting place where they train for the Olympics etc..
T'is a good hotel and only a budget type one. Lenny Henry likes to stay in these onesMe-Tony

Hi Tony
If I had had your email I would have forwarded something to you.
About Keilder.....you might be interested......A marathon taking place or a half Marathon If you would rather Other things as well but thatwas what caught my eye and I thought TONY!!!

Hello mate, I am sorry about the knees but pleased about the elbows. My knees never responded to whatever was removed and / or squirted in, they just replaced the fluid with more.
Enjoy all your forthcoming jaunts - I'm still paying for my week in Norfolk and don't want to go anywhere at the moment. I will, however, be braving Portman Road on Good Friday as The Spouse wants me to go with him to the footy. Yawn. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
DD.. I can imagine you will need to wrap up well. As mild as the weather is or seems to be, sitting watching football (also yawns  ) is a cold business.
