    Thanks DD
Yes it will be a waiting game. If I can see a little improvement I'll be happy to wait and hope that the improvement progresses

    Hi
Just over a week since the cortisone injection and it seems to be going back to square one....not quite as bad but still bad.
I'm also very listless and lethargic. I keep cancelling things because I cant be bothered going
What happened to the glass half full person????
That's my moan for today.

    Love

Sorry to hear things seem to have gone back a bit and that you're feeling so low, I hardly feel it qualifies as a man though. You've had a stressful, emotionally draining let a lone very painful time and it sounds as though it's caught up with you. Do hope things start to improve for you soon.
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

I'm sorry to hear that the effects of your injection appear to be wearing off, I hope that everything settles again for you and life isn't too unbearable for you.

    Thanks Slosh and Grace
I'll have to try and think more positively not be as negative.
I keep thinking it is never going to ease or go.

    Hm. Not brilliant.

Did the consultant give any indication as to when / how /if the pain would ease?

Do we now hope the Pain Clinic will do something soon?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks Toni....Hope you and Lucy are OK
Sticky.......Going to ring the GP on Monday.
The consultant dictated a letter to the GP over a week ago and in it he asked me to be referred to the Pain Clinic
I still haven't got the copy of that letter so I will ring the surgery on Mon and see what is happening. That's long enough to get a letter from him to the surgery???? He dictated it while I was there but goodness knows how long it sat on someone's desk after that
