Hi Everyone
I got home Wed evening at about 5.30 Its now Thurs 10.00pm
I'm completely wiped out. I never thought it would be as sore. Much worse than the 2 THR's I've hardly been online at all.
Apart from doing exercises, which I'm working up to, doing them all but not as many times for each one I can hardly move
OK moan over for tonight
Love
Eileen0 -
That's barely a moan, more an update! Hope you manage to get some decent sleep now you're home. More hugs (((())). Take jolly good care of yourself.

WELCOME HOME Eileen
So good to see you! Barbara has been great keeping us up to date.
A rough time for you this time?
I imagine all other joints get knocked about when they are 'fixing' one as well as not being able to sleep comfortably
Sending love and ((()))0 -
Welcome home indeed :autumn-sun:
I hope the pain eases up a bit soon. Meanwhile allow yourself to be waited on.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

It's lovely to know you are home, getting better is always easier when in one's own surroundings, yes? Of course things hurt and probably for some time yet, knees are complex joints, they take more 'fixing' but at least you have had it done, you are now on the right side of the operation and now it's time to concentrate on the healing, recuperation and recovery. Please do your best to be patient patient, let your husband do all that he can to help (even if he gets things wrong ) and don't pressure yourself un-necessarily, it's not worth it. These things take time but that time will pass and will, hopefully, lead to life being better and more comfortable. ((( ))) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi
Thank you all for your lovely messages. It ended up being 4 transfusions. I thought I would be bouncing about after that ....NO
The iron they are giving me plus all the other meds.......well you can imagine the side effects of those So that's not making me feel wonderful on top of the pain.
Being home is better, it is easier in your own surroundings. Also for those of you that know me and my patience {or lack of it} I will be patient this time.....got no choice......too sore to do much else
Love
Hileena0 -
One day nearer to recovery, Hileena.
If you're low in iron and high on 'bungy uppy' meds no wonder you're feeling rough. Lots of veg, fruit, wholefoods and drinks. And move about as much as possible even when sitting. It's all physio of sorts at this stage.
I hope things are slowly improving. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
