Motherhood and chronic illness

I wasn't quite sure where to post this. My daughter has just had an article published by "The Mighty" on being a mother to three young children while living with chronic disease ( ME and severe endometritis), I wanted to share because 1, I am a proud Mum, and 2, I thought it might be of interest to some on here as she also struggles with fatigue and pain.

He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

I wish I'd have read this when I was diagnosed in 1987, aged 36 with 5 kids and a part time job. I only had 2 life changing illnesses then, I have 7 now, plus cancer (in remission). Well done your daughter, no wonder you are proud. xx

Crikey, that took me back many years! Yes, that was my solution too and it doesn't seem to have done them any harm.
