Hi moose 👋 I've just seen your post, I recently had a very painful flare and normally I would get advice from my doctor about exercises but as things are not normal I went on the internet and just searched ' exercises for arthritis ' and a long list came up which I looked through until I found one that suited me . I have been doing the exercises every morning and evening and I found that my legs and hips are getting stronger and my walking has definitely inproved and walking up the stairs is slow but at least I can walk up normally now. The exercises I am doing are The straight-leg raise ( sitting) , straight-leg raise ( lying) , the hip extension and the hip abduction. I hope this has helped X5

Morning
I bought a mini floor exercise bike that you sit on the sofa and pedal you can also put it on a table to exercise your arms I find that this helps especially when my walking is not good sometimes it helps strengthen you .
hope this is something you can look into

Hi Tilliebobtail, did you find the floor cycle helpful? I have OA in my hips (and probably my knees too) and finding many exercises just too painful at the moment, and barely made it down the road to the shop yesterday.
