stinging tendons

In April I badly bent 2 of my fingers back lifting a heavy wire basket, this caused all the fingers on my left hand to become so swollen and stiff I couldn't move them. After an Xray showed no break I finally got to see a nurse at our GP surgery who suspected RA.The blood test came back normal and I am waiting to be referred to a Rheumatologist.

Both hands are now very stiff and sore though the swelling has all but gone. The tendons in my fingers sting if I bend or straighten my fingers and leaning my hands on a desk to type really hurts the bones at the little finger side of my wrist but my actual joints don't hurt, is this what people with RA experience?
