non union of subtalor
Morning all had a left Tallus fushion two years ago realigned my foot but not the pain...
So going in Dec 16th for subtalor fushion been told there is a 95% chance of a nonunion of the joint as ive had the top joint done my leg will be in plaster for 4-5 months with alot more metal work...
So my question is any one had a non union of said joint and what was the next plan of action???

Having a subtalor fusion operation at that time gets you home just in time for Christmas after (hopefully) just a couple of nights in hospital 😃
There have been a couple of discussions about fusion surgery: this discussion may be of some help.
We have a general page of information about foot and ankle surgery on the website:
Plus, I also found this useful entry from NuffieldHealth.com which deals with the subject directly:
Best wishes
