New AS Diagnosis
Hi,
I thought I'd come and say hi, having had a dignosis of AS a little over a week ago. I've always had on and off back pain, but never thought anything of it until the middle of last year when it got progressivly worse. Fast forward 18 months and I'm now awaitng an appointment with a rhuematology nurse to start Anti-TNF therapy, on adalimumab, hopefully sooner rather than later as I've started to get new pain in around my knees 😕
Fingers crossed the adalimumab helps.
Adam.

Hi @adamf83
Welcome to the Versus Arthritis online Community. I see you have a new diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis. am very pleased to hear you are about to start your treatment for AS very soon. I am posting this information even though you may already know most of the contents:
This is definitely worth a look though it includes a video by a chap who also has Ankylosing Spondylitis:
Best wishes
Ellen
