Waiting for hip replacement
Hi everyone - so pleased to have found this forum!! I have severe osteo arthritis in my left hip and have been waiting since the beginning of lockdown for a total hip replacement. I was also recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in my hands, which is not very helpful when trying to walk with a stick 😡. The pain in my hip is unbearable and I am now (almost) completely bedbound. I am on a morphine patch for the pain as I’ve had to come off the anti-inflammatory meds because of Salfasalazine (?) for my hands!! Just in a really bad way with no light at the end of the tunnel. 😢
