Arthritis is affecting how far I can walk
This is my first post. I have moderate arthritis of my left knee which has not worsened over 4 years. I do pilates and yoga normally on line. Recently we acquired a sheepdog collie puppy. one reason for this is to walk more. At present I walk my puppy for half an hour in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening.. i can cope with the knee pain but both my big toes are painful - stabbing pains at times. My doctor has dismissed gout and just says it is arthritis. He also told me to take ibuprofen.
Does anyone have any advice for pain relief of feet for walkers> Much appreciated.

Hi @Hafi52 firstly let me welcome you to the forum I hope you find the information and support you are after from our wonderful community.
I can see from your post that you have arthritis of the knee, and looking for help around the foot pain you are getting and coping with walking. Can you confirm if your arthritis is Osteoarthritis? It will help others advise you most appropriately.
The site is full of information and conversations but I wanted to initially signpost you to a couple of information articles that may be of help.
Please feel free to search the forum for others with similar experiences and I am sure that some of our community will be able to help offer some useful suggestions.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.
