I need to get a grip
Hi all
I have got RA in most of my joints. Particularly my knees, feet, hands, shoulders.
I have been on Methotrexate for 3 months now and on my target dose for the past 6 weeks so symptoms have eased a lot. I can walk every day which makes a huge difference. I had a depot injection of Prednisolone when I could barely walk 3 months ago. In 3 days I was walking a couple hundred yards (slowly).
Though things seem to be gradually improving though i cannot make a fist, or (get a grip). This does not appear to be improving and is very frustrating. I will see what the consultant has to say in November.
If anyone has had similar loss of grip experience I would appreciate timescale involved in returning to normal. I need to get a grip.

an old thread but interesting as it mentions a couple of things which might be useful. One is about physio take a look and see what you think. The person in question also mentions squeeze balls. Just a thought and I have a neighbour who uses sponges in warm water to exercise her hands too.
