Nerve Block
Hi to you all
I've recently been diagnosed with shoulder arthritis, very shocked as physios thought it was muscular or rotator cuff injury .
As I'm aYoga teacher it's really affecting my classes now so I'm going to take a break to think things through.
I've had a steroid injection which unfortunately didn't work😪 & my consultant has suggested a supra scapular nerve block.
Has anyone had one of these & most importantly do they workI would be grateful for any info at all
Thanks
Marjie

Hi @Marjie53
I am very pleased to read that your shoulder is maybe rotator cuff injury (have you had an ultrasound it's good for looking at shoulders).
If I were you I would definitely go for the nerve block you have very little to lose being in so much pain.
Interested to see if anyone else has had it. Will check with my hairdresser I know she had a shoulder issue last year.....

I'm going to see a consultant about the nerve block procedure this week so i should have more information soon.
I just can't find anyone else who's had one !
