Well been in pain for months (49) had a stroke 2 years ago was having trouble with joints GP thought tablets I was on but 7 months on physio said it RA I am so shocked and scared I keep crying got to wait several weeks to see a specialist. Apparently bloods should be 30 but mine are 300!! Will this come down ? I'm on blood thinners so no ibuophen does the pain improve what will specialist do to help xx

You’ve suffered with your joints for some time but have only recently been diagnosed with RA and are waiting to see a specialist. Understandably you are upset and have some concerns and questions.

I'm on blood thinners - Edoxaban - and the pain relief I was prescribed for my psoriatic arthritis first was co-dydramol and paracetamol. When that didn't work I was then prescribed dihydrocodeine and paracetamol.
