Denervation
Hello! Had RA for 30+ years. It has been compounded by Osteoarthritis. Am being offered the possibility of denervation, lower spine. As pain fluctuates, really difficult to assess how the exploratory blocking injections on one side have worked, to report back.Anybody experienced denervation and have you a view on pros and cons please?

Welcome to the Online Community. I see from your post that you have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 30 years and now have additional Osteoarthritis.
People on here had had denervation for various joints you might want to pop it into the search at the top of this page, but my quick search brought up mostly queries about having it and very few feeding back.
This article here mentions Denervation as a treatment and may have some other suggestions for you too:
This thread isn't much more help, but one member does refer to an 'old' member who has it fairly regularly. Her reply is of course 2nd hand so may not be much help to you.
Hopefully some of our members will share any relevant experience.
In the meantime please do have a look around the community and join in wherever you feel comfortable. Our Let's Move category for instance has some gentle stretches/exercises which you might find helpful.
Best wishes
Ellen.
