I've had swan's neck dedormity in one or two fingers for years, Tigs, but we still need to exercise them. In addition to the exercises in the link given above, it's really good to just make a ball of play dough and keep squeezing and releasing it.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh bless you, you're quite right. There's no going back with arthritis. Damage done is damage done.
BUT
The whole point of exercises is to try to keep what movement we have and to keep as many joints as possible as strong as possible so that we can compensate for those deformed ones. Thanks to exercises, about 40 years after first acquiring swan's neck deformities, and lots of other finger problems, I still have some sort of grip. It's very unorthodox and mostly involving my thumbs and palms but it helps me maintain my independence which is so important. Don't expect improvement but do hope for things to deteriorate much more slowly. It really is worth it.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I got in my ankles and toes wrist it is pain full and I'm on Cimza injection I get every 2nd week witch is fortnight it helps slow it down but Im struggling throu it all now

I'm pleased the cimzia helps. This med, like the swan's neck deformities, are for/due to RA not OA. You might also have OA. Many of us do. But, if your regular blood tests show that the cimzia is working then the rest is mainly a matter of pain control. There are lots of ways to do this. Have a look here https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/managing-symptoms/managing-your-pain/
