Hi @Maddymoo
Thank you for posting on the online community, we are a very friendly group, and hopefully you will be able to find some useful information, as with any new diagnosis it can be useful to find some support with other people who are going through similar things.
You have a recent diagnosis of osteoarthritis and systemic sclerosis, and are wanting some help & advice. Systemic sclerosis is a rare autoimmune condition that can cause people’s skin and the connective tissue inside the body to harden. This means that the immune system, which protects you from illness and infection, gets confused and attacks the body’s own cells.
Please see below a couple of links that I hope you will find useful
I have also included a previous thread from another member that you may find interesting
You may want to take a look at our Living with arthritis page, this is our most popular discussion and there may be other members who can also offer advice. Please do keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on.
Best wishes
Helen
