Adalimumab
Morning all
Having tried various treatments for my Psoriatic arthritis namely; methotrexate (lots of headaches),
Hydroxy Chlorquine (anxiety) and lafluamide (regular migraines) I thought I would at last find a treatment with fewer side effects. I have just started with Adalimumaab I have administered 3 shots.
It's early days I suppose but my anxiety issues have greatly increased. The official data says this is not an issue but on further research I have found many posts and research that suggests it my be a more common side effect.
I do suffer from periods of mild anxiety but since the commencement of the treatment it is almost continual.
The annoying thing is that the arthritic pain in my feet have greatly subsided.
Has anybody else experienced these issues. Physical pain I can cope with but not mental pain.

Hi @jonescm Welcome to the online community, thank you for posting
You have psoriatic arthritis and are currently taking adalimumab and are wondering about side effects.
Most people don’t have any side effects, and for those who do, they aren’t usually serious. But if you do have very bad side effects or are concerned about your symptoms, please do speak to your rheumatologist. However you should start to feel better over a period of 2–12 weeks.
