Hi Everyone, just coming to terms with my diagnosis, previously kept thinking maybe the HCP have got it wrong. Anyone else feel/felt like this?

Hi @bedfordy welcome to the Versus Arthritis Online Community.
I see from your post that you have a new diagnosis of Seronegative Arthritis. Adjusting to and accepting a diagnosis like this can certainly take some time and is something everyone here has been through. Denial can be part of the process. Do look at this it might help while you wait for some of our members to pop in:
In addition this is Candice's story of her own Seronegative Arthritis 'journey':
Now that you've introduced yourself maybe you'd like to take a look around the forum and join in some of the other threads? Living with Arthritis tends to be the most popular category.
My very best wishes
Ellen.

I've just posted to another new person in a similar position to you.
Bedfordy getting your head round something as big as this really doesn't happen overnight.
You almost have to grieve for the life you had planned and go through the stages of grief one of them being denial. Throw in a bit of anger, some shock, sadness and a few other bits (not in that order either necessarily) you will get there.
To what they call acceptance.
I posted this old 'read only' thread just now to @Lisaall it might help?
Take care and keep talking here is good it won't upset you family and friends. It really really helps along with getting reliably informed.
