5th Covid Vaccination

Hello
Not sure where to add my comments where Viewers can access this important information, can you help or add it for me:
I have been very concerned about having my 5th Covid Vaccination due this month as my last one, the ModernaSpikevax in April caused a severe reaction, a racing heart - previously the jabs had been AstraZeneca (first one caused a serious flare-up with my Arthritis) the second AstraZeneca, all ok as was the Pfizer.
My Rheumatologist has advised for people taking Methotrexate to stop the medication the week before the Vaccination and the week of the Vaccination to allow the body to produce the best response.
Also, due to my reaction of the last Moderna Vaccination, then it would be sensible to try an agent that I tolerated well, which was the Pfizer Vaccine, if it can be accessed.
Of course in this situation and for others, advisable to speak to a Medical Professional.

There is a link to a study called the VROOM study in this thread https://community.versusarthritis.org/discussion/58499/vaccine-response-on-off-methotrexate-vroom-study#latest
It recommends a 2 week break from MTX after your vaccine. I spoke to my rheumatology nurse and she confirmed that for me I should follow this. But she did say that you should consult yur own rheumatology department.
