Hip/pelvic pain

Hip replacement 23 years ago. Although successful, in the process my pelvis was pushed up on side of replacement. This has resulted in intermittent back pain over the years which has now become constant back pain and severe pain in buttock when walking more than a few yards. X-rays have shown nothing wrong with replacement joint. Has anyone encountered these problems, if so, what has helped ease the pain?

I also have rheumatoid arthritis which started 25 years ago. Methotrexate and etanercept keeps flair-ups at bay

    HI @TannieDee

This sounds like quite a rare complication.

I did a search (top right of page the magnifying glass icon) and got this thread. It's old and the person hasn't posted for years, but still:

    downhearted.

    My very best wishes

    Ellen.
