Any suggestions for reducing naturally bony spurs on ankle?
I have some osteoarthritis in my right ankle, with some bony spurs (osteophytes) on the top/ outside of the ankle, which give me some discomfort. I've been following the exercises for Toe Feet and Ankles on the Versus Arthritis website,
Can anyone suggest specific exercises to reduce naturally bony spurs? I want to avoid surgery if at all possible! Thanks, Mike ,

Hello @MikePerrott and welcome.
You might find our booklet of interest and if you search on spurs you will find some information.
Best wishes
Peter

Hi @M1954UK
I don't think I've heard of anyone whose bone spurs have gone away without surgery.
Obviously you could try exercise, but I don't think they will get rid of them and yours sound painful.
Sorry I just don't think I've ever heard of anyone here who was able to get rid of theirs😕
Best of luck with your ankle
Toni
