Methotrexate and COVID vaccin
Hi all, not quite sure what to do. I'm having my spring COVID Vac on 3 May and wonder if I should stop taking MTX before and after. I read a few comments on here. Would be happy to know what you were advised. Thank you.

Previously, I've been advised to have a 2 week break so I'm intending to do the same this time.

I was told by the RA nurse that I could continue to take mtx was also told I could have flu and covid jab at the same time which I did without any issues

The VROOM study in 2022 suggested that a 2 week break from MTX after the covid vaccination increased the efficacy of the vaccine.

Thanks all for your comments. Very useful. I finally managed to speak the rheumatology help line, who adviced me to go off MTX for 2 weeks after the COVID vac. So I'll do so.
Thx again.
