How long can methotrexate work?

I’ve recently started methotrexate and I’m happy to say my blood inflammation is improving, though I’m not physically feeling it much yet. I’m trying to find out how long it’s effective for generally. Obviously it varies from person to persons but, If it controls and persons symptoms will it most likely keep it at bay for a matter of months or years. I’m really worried I’ll get better and only have a year of time where I can move properly

Are you on any other meds?

They say it can take a good few months to feel any affects after starting a new drug.

Ive been on 20mg mtx for 23 years but with many other tablets and anti tnf infusion every 6 weeks.

Hope it keeps giving relief for many years to come.
