Steriod Injections
Hello, I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right hip and am 40 yrs old. 80% of the time I'm able to move around very well with a mild/moderate groin/hip and knee pain. I've had my first hip consult last week and they've immediately offered me a steriod injection. I wouldn't mind if anyone could kindly share their pros/cons on the injection - whether I should hold out until it becomes more painful or just go for it. I'm afraid I don't have much knowledge at all. Many thanks for reading.
