Roactemra
Hi, my first post. I was diagnosed after sudden onset of rheumatoid arthritis 2 years ago. Been on methotrexate & still am, hydroxochloriquine, sulphasalazine, adalimumab & not worked. Just started tocilizumab (roactemra) but the injections are so painful. Is this normal?

Welcome @Jbinns73 to the online community
It sounds as if you have had quite a journey already with your different trials of medication. Methotrexate is your staple drug and now you are hoping that tocilizumab will help create a better combination. You are finding the injections painful and ask if this is normal.
I attach a link about your medication and a conversation between members from a while ago now!
I hope these are helpful . There is a lot of information on the website so do browse round and join in.
Best wishes
