Welcome @NicoleJaaay to the online community
You are concerned about a small blister round the injection site. I take the pill form of Methotrexate but there are numbers of members who do take it by injections so I hope you will hear from them soon. If the blister becomes angry and itchy or spreads as with any rash type concern you should speak to your medical team. It may be nothing to do with the methotrexate or your immune system but it is better to get it checked out by your rheumatology nurse or GP.
We are glad you found us and hope that you will look round the forum and join in with the discussions and activities. Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes

Hello @NicoleJaaay
Thank you for posting on the Online Community. One of our Community Moderators @Poppyjane has given a helpful response to your post.
I am sorry to hear about the small blister that has developed round your Methotrexate injection site. As @Poppyjane has said, it sounds as if it would be good to get this checked out by a healthcare professional, either your rheumatology nurse or GP, especially if it seems to be getting worse.
Because your condition and methotrexate affect the immune system, you may be more likely to get infections. We are not medically trained to give advice about your individual clinical situation .
Some people find that Methotrexate injections are more effective than tablets, with less side effects. So, it may well be worth persevering. If you have any worries or concerns about side effects or new symptoms, it is important to get in touch with your rheumatology nurse as soon as possible.
If you would like to have more replies to your post, you are welcome to repost on our Living with Arthritis forum which is a supportive space where you can ask questions and share experiences with others.
You are also welcome to call our Free Helpline on 0800 5200 520 weekdays 9am - 6pm, if you would like to talk things through informally and in confidence.
I hope you will find the information given below of some help.
Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on.
Best wishes,
