Arthritis and Thrombocytopenia

Hi, I am fairly new here; I was diagnosed with arthritis back in late October and had been taking hydroxychloroquine, but this week, I had blood tests run to check on a different condition, and my platelets have dropped really low, so I have been taken off it. Has anyone else experienced this as i can't find much information about it?

Hope your platelet levels have returned to normal. Good that it was picked up when it was. I can't help you with information except that it is apparently a rare side effect of hydroxychloroquine.
