Hello,

I am an RA suffer for the past couple of years, about to start on the biological injection and have been advised I'll need to wear an SPF of 30 or above all year round.

I'm looking for suggestions of good, inexpensive body lotions with SPF please??

I'm pretty disheartened by the link with skin cancer the biologics has as I do like the sunshine and a spot of sunbathing (with sunscreen of course) is one of my few guilty pleasures. I would love to hear oth people's experience of these drugs and how they manage the side effects.

Thanks for reading

Kat x

Thank you Peter, I have read this and I am careful in the sun as I've always been fair skinned and prone to heat rash too.

    Appreciate the info!

    Hi,

I use Ultrasun factor 50 abroad and 30 in UK once a day application but when in full on sunbathing in a beach resort I reapply once more after swimming. They have tinted ones, spray ones etc, highly recommend as although a bit more expensive I get from QVC so a lot cheaper and my sun sensitivity issue causing a prickly heat time reaction I have had all my life now never happens.
