Knee replacement concerns New member

Hi, I'm Jane, am 65 and have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and after years of putting up with it, decided I need to look into knee replacements. I saw my consultant last week who put me on the waiting list for the first one to be done. I'm keen to know if there are any tips anyone has for me pre and post op.

Hello  @Salsagirl and welcome to the Community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well. Sorry to hear about your knee pain but you are definitely in the right place in this forum😊Our members have vast experience and so many of us have experience of knee replacements. I'm sure you will get a lot of responses but, in the meantime, use the search icon (magnifying glass towards top right of the screen) and search for 'knee replacement' - you will get a lot of results - some members have even input timelines describing their recovery.
