Well eight weeks have flown past and today I was able to walk to Tesco and back without crutches. It's great. Been massaging my wound in circular motions with E45 which helps so much and I can feel less bumps every day. Physio helps loads too.

So thankful to NHS and my God Jesus who heals through prayer and faith.

you are doing really well and now have the lovely weather to look forward to for your daily walks. The exercises take a while to kick in but eventually you feel the benefit of all the hard work that you have put in. Well done🙂

I read every hip replacement diary and posts that I can; for both support and information.

Our recovery periods depend on many factors, which can make us despondent if your own experience doesn't mirror what you read on other people's threads; so I am glad that you seem upbeat and determined to gain a speedy recovery.

Keep up the good work and remember that this community has your back, should you ever need motivation or advice. 🫂
